Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney, born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin is a British-Lebanese Barrister and human rights activist and philanthropist. Following her graduation from the Oxford University School of Law she went on to pursue an extensive and successful professional career within human rights and international law. The most prominent clients she worked with were national states such as Armenia that was battling for recognition of the Armenian Genocide in Turkey. Amal Clooney got married to American actor George Clooney and became a household brand in the popular media in the year the year 2014. Years earlier, Amal Clooney was known for successfully representing her clients in court and earned a good name. The range of her work ranges from tackling human rights and justice problems to representing multinational companies in negotiations and court actions regarding government regulation. From 2015 onwards she worked as a barrister in British court in Doughty Street Chambers.
